Spine Shatter is a groove metal band originally formed by Vishal.K.R. The drummer, Pranav.K.R was the first addition to the band. They both worked together for over 6 months to write the first few initial compositions of the band. Shiv Rekhi then joined the band as the bass player and the final additions to the band were Tushar Nayak on vocals and Akshay Thyagarajan on guitars.
